The writer Oscar Wilde once said: "Before Whistler's paintings, there was no fog in London." This means that although London has been locked in thick fog for a long time, people are in the fog and are unaware of it. Fortunately, the painter has benefited from it. Sler's paintings make people aware of the omnipresence of fog. From this, we can understand that one of the functions of aesthetic art is to actually help human beings see things that are invisible or invisible in life. This semester's freshman Chinese course hopes to use this concept to enable students to understand and think about the unique concept of "seeing fog and enlightenment" in literature, and through the aesthetic characteristics, cultural value, and social criticism of literature and art, leading students to re-examine life. Important things that originally existed but were turned a blind eye make literature and society highlight and reflect each other.
