This course is designed for Sociology juniors to enhance their reading, writing,and listening skills, as well as speaking skills. With foci on skill training, vocabulary building, and writing elements (e.g., grammar,organization, unity, coherence, and sentence structure), students in this course are expected to improve their writing ability and listening ability.Novel reading will also be introduced to the course to promote student’s English learning motivation. Several English writing, listening, or oral tasks will be assigned weekly to assist students learning.
