教育目標 Course Target

近年來,隨著人口高齡化及生活水準的提高,全球醫療需求及醫療照護費持續增長,醫療器材市場正躍躍欲試。在國際潮流的影響之下,台灣醫材產業也正蓄勢待發,前景大為看好。有鑑於此,人才的培養就顯得格外重要。課程從不同領域之專業角度,介紹臨床醫療運用上的創新價值,進而激發學生產生創意改良設計,尋求創業機會。東海大學在國立成功大學前瞻醫療器材技術中心協助下,通過此教學亮點計畫將國家實驗研究院科技政策研究和資訊中心與美國Stanford大學合作執行的五年期“醫療器材產品設計之人才培訓計畫”(Stanford-Taiwan Biomedical Fellowship Program,以下簡稱STB計畫)之課程帶進東海大學。此課程的原本設計目的為通過跨國、跨校、跨院、跨系的結合,拓寬及加深學生在醫療器材各方面的訓練及知識。課程教授團隊皆是經STB計畫於Standford為期一年訓練之學員,都具有高階醫療產品設計及商業化運用之實務經驗。 希望通過此教學亮點計畫的執行,讓東海大學工學院、理學院、農學院、創意設計暨藝術學院的學生能接觸學習到美國Stanford大學STB計畫的課程內容與理念,達到與世界一流大學的接軌,以及培育高階醫療器材產品設計及產業化實務的“跨領域種子人才”的目的。In recent years, with the increase in population and the increase in living standards, the global medical demand and medical care costs have continued to grow, and the medical equipment market is about to try. Under the influence of international trends, Taiwan's medical materials industry is also ready to develop, and the prospects are very optimistic. With this in mind, the cultivation of talents is particularly important. The course introduces the innovative value of clinical medical use from a professional perspective in different fields, thereby stimulating students to produce creative improvement designs and seeking opportunities for creation. With the assistance of the National Chenggong University Foresight Medical Equipment Technology Center, Donghai University brought the course of the five-year "Stanford-Taiwan Biomedical Fellowship Program" (Stanford-Taiwan Biomedical Fellowship Program) to Donghai University through this teaching highlight program through this teaching highlight program. The original design purpose of this course is to expand and deepen students' training and knowledge in all aspects of medical equipment through cross-country, cross-school, cross-college and cross-department combinations. The course professor team is all students who trained in Standford for one year with STB planning, and they all have practical experience in high-level medical product design and commercial use. We hope that through the implementation of this teaching highlights, students from Donghai University’s School of Engineering, Science, Agricultural College, and Creative Design and Art can be accessed from the course content and concepts of Stanford University’s STB Program, achieve the purpose of connecting with world-class universities, and cultivating "cross-domain seed talents" in high-level medical equipment product design and industry-oriented practice.

通過此課程讓學生瞭解醫療器材創新設計之理念,並結合實際設計與操作培養學生創新創意之設計能力。
Through this course, students can understand the concept of innovative design of medical equipment, and combine practical design and operation to cultivate students' innovative and creative design abilities.
