Probiotics and Immunology
教育目標 Course Target
This course explores the interactions among probiotics, prebiotics, postbiotics, and the gut microbiota through the reading and discussion of recent scientific publications. Students will examine their biological functions, mechanisms of action, and current research methodologies, with particular emphasis on clinical applications in healthy individuals, patients, and companion animals. The course will also introduce commercially available products and discuss relevant regulatory considerations related to probiotic and microbiome-based health products.
