本課由傅柯生命政治和治理性的角度起使，藉由閱讀經典理論和研究，以逐次探討以下攸關現代社會身份政治的課題：
一、生命政治、治理性、與民族國家的興起
二、殖民主義與後殖民國家國族認同的興起
三、多元文化身份認同如何執行

This course starts from the perspective of Foucault's biopolitics and governmentality, and by reading classic theories and research, it will explore the following issues related to identity politics in modern society:
1. Biopolitics, governmentality, and the rise of nation-states
2. Colonialism and the rise of national identity in post-colonial countries
3. How to implement multicultural identity
