本課程為下列幾項暑期田野課程的學分課程，1. 暑期國際田野, 2. 珊瑚礁生物多樣性與水下生態調查技術研習會, 3. 熱帶暑期田野。經甄選通過上述幾項暑期課程並完成要求後，得以選修給予學分。學期中將進行一次成果報告。

珊瑚礁生物多樣性與水下生態調查技術部分：
珊瑚礁生態系是熱帶與亞熱帶淺海的重要棲地，具備極高的生物多樣性，被譽為「海中熱帶雨林」。本課程以綠島海域為主要場域，結合實地潛水調查與實驗室觀察，培養學生對珊瑚礁生態與生物多樣性的專業理解與研究能力。

This course is a credit course for the following summer field courses, 1. Summer International Field, 2. Coral Reef Biodiversity and Underwater Ecological Survey Technology Workshop, 3. Tropical Summer Field. After passing the selection of the above-mentioned summer courses and completing the requirements, you can take elective courses and receive credits. There will be an outcome report during the semester.

Coral reef biodiversity and underwater ecological survey technology part:
Coral reef ecosystems are important habitats in tropical and subtropical shallow seas. They have extremely high biodiversity and are known as "tropical rainforests in the sea." This course takes the Green Island sea area as the main site and combines field diving surveys and laboratory observations to cultivate students' professional understanding and research capabilities on coral reef ecology and biodiversity.
