本課程以政治哲學的核心議題為經，以AI時代的挑戰為緯，引導修課同學系統性地思考自由、平等、正義、民主與權力等根本概念。主教材採用沃夫（Jonathan Wolff）《人天生就是政治動物：政治哲學緒論》第四版（商周，2025），藉以建立分析政治概念的基本架構；輔以科克爾柏格（Mark Coeckelbergh）《AI世代》選讀章節（商周，2024）與斯坎倫（T. M. Scanlon）《為何不平等至關重要？》選讀章節（麥田，2021），檢視演算法治理、數位監控與分配不正義等當代爭議。有別於以理論史為主軸的傳統取徑，本課程採專題研討模式，要求同學結合自身職場與生活經驗進行哲學反思，以理解政治哲學為何能作為介入當代公共生活的思考工具。

This course takes the core issues of political philosophy as its warp and the challenges of the AI ​​era as its latitude, guiding students to systematically think about fundamental concepts such as freedom, equality, justice, democracy and power. The main text adopts the fourth edition of Jonathan Wolff's "Humans Are Born Political Animals: An Introduction to Political Philosophy" (Shangzhou, 2025) to establish the basic structure for analyzing political concepts; it is supplemented by selected reading chapters of Mark Coeckelbergh's "The AI ​​Generation" (Shangzhou, 2024) and T. M. Scanlon's "Why Inequality Matters?" 》 Selected chapters (Maitian, 2021) to examine contemporary controversies such as algorithmic governance, digital surveillance, and distributive injustice. Different from the traditional approach that focuses on theoretical history, this course adopts a special discussion model, requiring students to conduct philosophical reflections based on their own workplace and life experiences to understand why political philosophy can be used as a thinking tool to intervene in contemporary public life.
