Seminar: Emotion, Existence, and Transformation: The Phenomenology of 'Qing' in Chinese Philosophy
教育目標 Course Target
本課程將引導學生從古典文本出發,與自身的生命經驗對話。我們將從先秦的「情之本源」談起,經過《莊子》的「情之解構與重構」,最後進入宋明理學精密的心性工夫論,探討如何在現代高壓生活中,安頓身心之「情」。本課程目標如下:1.義理深度:掌握《中庸》、《莊子》與宋明理學對於「情」的核心論述(如:未發已發、以理化情、無情之情)。2.跨域對話:嘗試將傳統的「情」論與當代現象學、心理學或情緒哲學進行對話(視學生背景引導)。3.生命實踐:引導學生將哲學理論轉化為具體的修養工夫,反思個人在職場與人際關係中的情感模式。
This course will guide students to start from classical texts and dialogue with their own life experiences. We will start from the "origin of emotion" in the pre-Qin Dynasty, pass through the "deconstruction and reconstruction of emotion" in "Zhuangzi", and finally enter the sophisticated theory of Xinxing Gongfu in Song and Ming Neo-Confucianism to explore how to settle the "emotion" of the body and mind in modern high-pressure life. The goals of this course are as follows: 1. Depth of Philosophy: Master the core discussion of "emotion" in "The Doctrine of the Mean", "Zhuangzi" and Neo-Confucianism of the Song and Ming Dynasties (such as: before it is released, it is already expressed, using reason to transform emotion, and ruthless emotion). 2. Cross-domain dialogue: Try to have a dialogue between traditional "emotion" theory and contemporary phenomenology, psychology or emotion philosophy (depending on the student's background). 3. Life practice: Guide students to transform philosophical theories into specific self-cultivation efforts, and reflect on personal emotional patterns in the workplace and interpersonal relationships.
