1. 能正確認讀、拼寫漢語拼音。
2. 能運用基本課室及招呼用語。
3. 能進行簡單的自我介紹。
4. 能與初次見面的朋友簡單交流。
5. 能介紹家庭成員。
6. 習得基礎動詞、名詞、量詞。
7. 習得時間詞、形容詞、顏色詞。
8. 能談論週末活動、介紹同學的喜好。
9. 習得基礎地方詞。
10. 能詢問價錢、掌握關於價錢的單位。
11. 能介紹臺灣的有名小吃。
12. 能介紹自己家鄉的飲食。

This course aims to enable learners to reach the A1 level of Chinese language proficiency. It uses the textbook themes to provide balanced practice of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in order to:
1. Able to read and spell Chinese Pinyin correctly.
2. Be able to use basic classroom and greeting terms.
3. Able to conduct a simple self-introduction.
4. Able to communicate briefly with friends who meet for the first time.
5. Can introduce family members.
6. Acquire basic verbs, nouns, and quantifiers.
7. Acquire time words, adjectives, and color words.
8. Able to talk about weekend activities and introduce classmates’ preferences.
9. Acquire basic local words.
10. Able to inquire about prices and understand the price of the unit.
11. Can introduce famous snacks in Taiwan.
12. Be able to introduce the food of your hometown.
13. Acquire basic locative words.
14. Able to explain directions based on maps.
15. Able to ask and make appointments.
16. Be able to introduce common leisure activities in Taiwan.
17. Be able to introduce common means of public transportation.
18. Ability to share personal leisure activities.
19. Can talk about personal travel plans.
20. Able to give suggestions on plans.
21. Acquire basic fruit and taste vocabulary.
