Korean Contemporary Art:Navigating Identity and Innovation
教育目標 Course Target
In this course, students will explore and discover their true selves by drawing inspiration from Korean contemporary art. Through hands-on workshops, they will engage with themes such as identity, artistic resistance, shamanism, popular culture (including K-pop), and new media, all while learning the fundamentals of visual art.
By creating both individual and collaborative artworks and participating in a final exhibition, students will develop their unique artistic voices and connect their personal ideas to broader cultural and social contexts.
The main lectures and creative workshops are led by Korean contemporary artist Rin Hyeong (Lynn Hyeong), accompanied by Wang Chung-ming (王崇名), who provides compassionate guidance focused on the students' character education and personal growth.
