刑事訴訟法，規範刑事訴訟程序，包含偵查、起訴、審判及執行程序。國家藉由刑事訴訟程序，發現犯罪真實，進而制裁罪犯；同時，保障人民權利，避免無辜者蒙冤。「無程序即無刑罰」，國家在實現刑罰權時，必須嚴守正當法律程序，以保障刑事被告基本人權，故刑事訴訟法有「憲法測震儀」之稱。是故，如何在真實發現與人權保障之間，取得一個平衡穩定的立基點，是學習刑事訴訟法的主要課題。
本課程是學年課，主要學習內容是，刑事訴訟法的重要理論及其規範，使學生對於刑事訴訟法制有所理解。希望本課程，可以協助學生建立以刑事案件處理能力為主的核心專業能力，進而能進行刑事實體法與程序法的交錯運用，並同時培養法律專業倫理。

The Criminal Procedure Law regulates criminal procedures, including investigation, prosecution, trial and execution procedures. Through criminal proceedings, the state discovers the truth of the crime and then punishes the criminal; at the same time, it protects people's rights and prevents innocent people from being wronged. "No procedure means no punishment." When the country implements the power of punishment, it must strictly adhere to due legal procedures to protect the basic human rights of criminal defendants. Therefore, the criminal procedure law is known as the "constitutional seismometer." Therefore, how to achieve a balanced and stable foundation between true discovery and human rights protection is the main topic in studying criminal procedure law.
This course is an academic year course. The main learning content is the important theories and norms of criminal procedure law, so that students can have an understanding of the criminal procedure legal system. It is hoped that this course can help students establish core professional abilities, mainly focusing on criminal case handling abilities, and then be able to interweave criminal substantive law and procedural law, and at the same time cultivate legal professional ethics.
