■ 課程目標 (Course Objectives)
本課程為一學年之課程安排，以單元式授課搭配Studio命題之方式進行，上學期主要以植栽設計之基本知識能力、下學期以植栽設計應用單元教授為主，藉此提升學生之植栽設計能力，另外搭配服務學習課程操作，帶領同學參與完整之植栽與景觀工程實作與相關競賽，全學年目標如下：
(一)上學期以教授植栽設計基礎單元為主，下學期則以教授各類型植栽設計單元為主，各單元均與目前國內外植栽設計與植栽工程趨勢相互結合。
(二)介紹各類型植栽設計應用之觀賞植物，包括耐陰、草花、多肉、香草、地被、雜草、草坪、水生、本土、誘蝶、誘鳥植物等，以及植物各方面觀賞特性。
(三)介紹各種觀賞植物材料應用於各類景觀主題的設計配置手法。
(四)教導植栽美學、設計原則、植栽圍塑之空間感、植物與環境機能、維護管理、植物於不同環境適應性等，以及植栽設計表現法、植栽設計的落實，搭配生成式AI及其他軟體之應用，以及植栽選種、配置等學理。
(五)教導植栽工程有關之工法設計、施工及估價等專業能力之訓練。
(六)利用課堂上課、植栽實習空間操作、校園參與式教學、以及校外參觀等多種方式，驗證所學理論。

■ 課程內涵 (Course Contents)
上學期以植栽設計基礎課程教授為主：單元包含植栽設計方法論、植栽機能、植物的環境適應性、植栽設計基本原則、植栽繪製與上色、景觀植物播種繁殖、植栽工程技術、植栽維護管理技術、生成式AI植栽設計教學、校園空間實習管理維護實作等。並配合適當之基地命題搭配操作。

■Course Objectives
This course is arranged for one academic year. It is conducted in the form of unit-based teaching and studio propositions. The first semester mainly focuses on the basic knowledge and ability of planting design, and the second semester mainly teaches the planting design application unit to enhance students' planting design capabilities. In addition, it is combined with service-learning course operations to lead students to participate in complete planting and landscape engineering implementation and related competitions. The goals for the entire academic year are as follows:
(1) The first semester was mainly about teaching basic units of planting design, and the next semester is about teaching various types of planting design units. Each unit is integrated with the current domestic and foreign trends in planting design and planting engineering.
(2) Introduce various types of ornamental plants for planting design and application, including shade-tolerant, grass flowers, succulents, herbs, ground covers, weeds, lawns, aquatic, native, butterfly-attracting, bird-attracting plants, etc., as well as various ornamental characteristics of plants.
(3) Introduce the design and configuration techniques of various ornamental plant materials used in various landscape themes.
(4) Teach planting aesthetics, design principles, the sense of space surrounding planting, plant and environmental functions, maintenance and management, plant adaptability to different environments, etc., as well as planting design expression methods, implementation of planting design, the application of generative AI and other software, and plant selection and configuration.
(5) Provide training on professional skills such as construction method design, construction and valuation related to planting projects.
(6) Use various methods such as classroom lessons, planting practice space operations, campus participatory teaching, and off-campus visits to verify the theories learned.

■ Course Contents
Last semester, basic courses on planting design were mainly taught: units include planting design methodology, planting function, environmental adaptability of plants, basic principles of planting design, planting drawing and coloring, landscape plant seeding and propagation, planting engineering technology, planting maintenance and management technology, generative AI planting design teaching, campus space internship management and maintenance implementation, etc. And cooperate with the appropriate base proposition to operate.
