-理解晚期浪漫主義至現代音樂形成的歷史背景、美學思想與文化脈絡。
- Understand the important development of Western music from the late 19th century to the First World War.
-Understand important composers, representative works and their musical style characteristics from various countries.
-Understand the historical background, aesthetic ideas and cultural context from late romanticism to modern music.
