本課程的目標是讓學生學習網際網路上的商業交易現況與趨勢，瞭解如何運用電子與社群行銷進行食品行銷的基本知識，從介紹電子商務運作的各種型態及經營模式，如何進行數位行銷的方式，及如何結合社群媒體引流到電商平台至蒐集後台交易資訊，運用大數據分析各面向(產品趨勢、消費者喜好等等)等議題，激發學生進行電子商務與社群媒體應用之能力，另將結合實際案例讓學生更能容易理解實務操作面。
