教育目標 Course Target
產業經濟學主要討論企業在不完全競爭市場中的行為,探討企業如何取得並運用市場量力、企業間的策略互動,以及政府競爭政策所扮演的角色。產業經濟學(一)的課程內容分為兩大部份:前半學期介紹廠商理論和產業結構,後半學期則以賽局理論與交易成本理論探討廠商定價、垂直整合、多角化等商業策略。
Industrial economics mainly discusses the behavior of enterprises in imperfectly competitive markets, exploring how enterprises obtain and use market power, strategic interactions between enterprises, and the role played by government competition policies. The course content of Industrial Economics (I) is divided into two parts: the first half of the semester introduces the theory of manufacturers and industrial structure, and the second half of the semester uses game theory and transaction cost theory to explore business strategies such as manufacturer pricing, vertical integration, and diversification.
課程概述 Course Description
本課程係產業組織的基礎課程,為產業經濟分析及產業研究等一系類課程的基礎。課程以個體經濟學的基本理論為基礎,主要探討產業間廠商之水平及垂直關係。水平關係包含非完全競爭市場的課題,除介紹傳統的結構行為—績效理論之外,將以賽局理論為架構,探討廠商與廠商之間的互動對產業的影響。垂直關係則包含廠商之垂直整合、控制、分工及供應鏈的建立。課程主要內容包括廠商的理論的簡介、產業結構指標的介紹及廠商進出的影響因素、賽局理論與寡占理論、廠商的勾結與訂價行為、垂直整合與分工、產品差異化與廣告、政府的政策及法令的管制對廠商及產業的影響也在探討之列。除了產業組織理論的介紹,將配合產業現況及個案的討論以強化學習深度。
This course is a basic course on industrial organization and serves as the basis for a series of courses such as industrial economic analysis and industrial research. The course is based on the basic theory of individual economics and mainly discusses the horizontal and vertical relationships between manufacturers in industries. Horizontal relationships include the subject of imperfectly competitive markets. In addition to introducing the traditional structural behavior-performance theory, the game theory will be used as a framework to explore the impact of interactions between manufacturers on the industry. Vertical relationships include vertical integration, control, division of labor and the establishment of supply chains among manufacturers. The main content of the course includes an introduction to the theory of manufacturers, an introduction to industrial structure indicators and factors affecting the entry and exit of manufacturers, game theory and oligopoly theory, collusion and pricing behavior of manufacturers, vertical integration and division of labor, product differentiation and advertising, and the impact of government policies and legal controls on manufacturers and industries. In addition to the introduction of industrial organization theory, discussions on current industry conditions and cases will be conducted to enhance the depth of learning.
