本課程旨在引導學生理解國際貿易活動的形成原因、運作機制與政策影響。課程將依據國際貿易理論的發展脈絡，循序介紹古典貿易理論、新古典貿易理論、新貿易理論及當代國際貿易相關議題，協助學生建立分析國際貿易現象的基本工具與理論基礎。除理論介紹外，本課程亦將探討各項國際貿易政策工具之內涵與效果，包括關稅、配額等政策，並分析這些政策在不同市場結構與國際經濟環境下，對生產者、消費者、政府與整體社會福利所造成的影響。
透過本課程，學生將能夠掌握國際貿易理論與政策的核心概念，培養對國際貿易議題進行經濟分析、政策判斷與實務應用的能力，並進一步提升其面對全球化、區域整合與國際經貿變遷時的深度思考與決策能力。

This course aims to guide students to understand the formation causes, operating mechanisms and policy implications of international trade activities. Based on the development of international trade theory, the course will sequentially introduce classical trade theory, neoclassical trade theory, new trade theory and contemporary international trade-related issues, helping students establish basic tools and theoretical foundations for analyzing international trade phenomena. In addition to theoretical introduction, this course will also explore the connotation and effects of various international trade policy tools, including tariffs, quotas and other policies, and analyze the impact of these policies on producers, consumers, governments and overall social welfare under different market structures and international economic environments.
Through this course, students will be able to master the core concepts of international trade theory and policy, develop the ability to conduct economic analysis, policy judgment and practical application of international trade issues, and further enhance their in-depth thinking and decision-making abilities in the face of globalization, regional integration and international economic and trade changes.
