本課程旨在介紹微積分之基本概念、理論與應用，使學生建立完整的微積分基礎，理解極限、微分與積分等核心概念，並熟悉相關運算方法與解題技巧。 課程除著重數學概念的理解與計算能力外，亦透過問題分析、數學推導及實際應用，培養學生之邏輯思考、數學推理與問題解決能力，使學生能運用微積分作為數學描述與分析的工具，探討自然科學、工程、資訊、經濟及其他相關領域中的問題，並奠定後續修習進階數學、科學計算與相關專業課程之基礎。
