本課程旨在建立學生對計算機科學與資訊科技之整體認識，培養理解電腦系統、資訊處理與科技應用的基礎能力。課程內容涵蓋計算機發展、數位資料表示、計算機組織、作業系統、網際網路、網路安全、程式語言、資料結構、演算法、軟體工程、資料庫、人工智慧、生成式 AI、機器學習與電子商務等主題。透過理論介紹、實例說明與資訊科技趨勢討論，引導學生理解硬體與軟體的基本原理，認識資訊安全與 AI 時代的重要議題，並培養邏輯思考、問題分析、資訊素養與跨領域應用能力，作為後續修習程式設計、資料科學、人工智慧及相關資訊課程之基礎。

This course aims to establish students' overall understanding of computer science and information technology, and cultivate basic abilities in understanding computer systems, information processing and technology applications. The course content covers topics such as computer development, digital data representation, computer organization, operating systems, Internet, network security, programming languages, data structures, algorithms, software engineering, databases, artificial intelligence, generative AI, machine learning and e-commerce. Through theoretical introduction, practical examples and discussions on information technology trends, students are guided to understand the basic principles of hardware and software, understand important issues in the era of information security and AI, and cultivate logical thinking, problem analysis, information literacy and cross-field application capabilities, which serve as the basis for subsequent study of programming, data science, artificial intelligence and related information courses.
