Electromagnetism (I)
教育目標 Course Target
本課程旨在介紹經典電磁學之基本理論、數學方法與物理內涵,建立學生對電場、磁場與電磁波之整體理解。課程內容涵蓋向量分析、靜電學、靜磁學、介質中的電磁場、Maxwell 方程組、電磁波傳播、邊界條件與電磁輻射等主題,並逐步導入場論與波動觀念,使學生理解電與磁統一之物理架構。
課程中特別強調物理直覺與數學推導並重,訓練學生運用向量微積分、微分方程與邊界條件分析各類電磁問題,培養其獨立思考與問題解決能力。
This course aims to introduce the basic theories, mathematical methods and physical connotations of classical electromagnetism, and to establish students' overall understanding of electric fields, magnetic fields and electromagnetic waves. The course content covers topics such as vector analysis, electrostatics, magnetostatics, electromagnetic fields in media, Maxwell's equations, electromagnetic wave propagation, boundary conditions and electromagnetic radiation. It also gradually introduces field theory and wave concepts to enable students to understand the physical structure of the unity of electricity and magnetism.
The course places special emphasis on both physical intuition and mathematical derivation, training students to use vector calculus, differential equations and boundary conditions to analyze various electromagnetic problems, and cultivating their independent thinking and problem-solving abilities.
