Argumentative Writing
教育目標 Course Target
一、 核心研究與邏輯論證能力
目標 1:具備由現實情境提煉「問題意識」的能力。
學生能從真實世界或專業領域中觀察現象、發現矛盾,並將模糊的靈感轉化為具備研究價值、焦點明確的「研究問題(Research Questions)」。
目標 2:建構嚴謹的學術論證與推論架構。
學生能掌握論文各章節(緒論、文獻探討、方法論、結果與討論、結論)的邏輯骨架,理解變項間的關係,並能有條理地陳述自身論點,而非單純堆砌資料。
二、 AI 協同研究與工作流優化
目標 3:熟練運用生成式 AI 進行文獻擴展與知識管理。
學生能將研究問題轉化為精準的資料庫關鍵字,並學會運用 AI 工具(如 NotebookLM、Perplexity 等)協助閱讀、分類文獻,高效率建立專屬的研究知識庫與文獻矩陣表格。
目標 4:掌握「人機協同」的論文草稿撰寫與數據解讀技巧。
學生能運用學術專屬的 Prompt(提示詞)引導 AI 輔佐撰寫各章節初稿,並能藉由 AI 的客觀視角輔助解讀研究方法與統計數據,提升寫作效率與產能。
三、 批判性思考與學術誠信
目標 5:發展獨立判斷與主動管理 AI 輸出的批判能力。
學生能識別 AI 產出可能帶有的幻覺或盲點,不被 AI 牽著走;並能對 AI 的回應進行驗證、對比學術規範,落實「主動管理」的心態。
目標 6:內化生成式 AI 的學術倫理規範。
學生能清晰理解國內外學術出版對於 AI 使用的政策與邊界,掌握合規的使用方式與引用揭露原則,確保研究成果符合學術誠信。
四、 高級寫作修辭與成果產出
目標 7:掌握「去 AI 味」的學術改寫與潤稿技巧。
學生能熟練運用段落重組、強化轉折、補強實證根據等改寫策略,並能針對不同章節(如緒論的導引、討論章的對話)調整語氣,使文字兼具學術專業度與研究者的「人味」。
目標 8:完成具備投稿或發表潛力的專題論文成果。
學生能經歷完整的研究生命週期,在學期末產出一份結構完整、論證清晰的專題論文,並具備評估國際期刊/研討會投稿與回應審查意見的基本知能。
1. Core research and logical argumentation abilities
Goal 1: Have the ability to refine "problem awareness" from real-life situations.
Students can observe phenomena and find contradictions in the real world or professional fields, and transform vague inspiration into "Research Questions" with research value and clear focus.
Goal 2: Construct a rigorous academic argumentation and inference structure.
Students can master the logical skeleton of each chapter of the paper (introduction, literature review, methodology, results and discussion, conclusion), understand the relationship between variables, and be able to state their own arguments in an organized manner instead of simply stacking data.
2. AI collaborative research and workflow optimization
Goal 3: Proficient in using generative AI for literature expansion and knowledge management.
Students can transform research questions into precise database keywords, and learn to use AI tools (such as NotebookLM, Perplexity, etc.) to assist in reading and classifying documents, and efficiently build exclusive research knowledge bases and document matrix tables.
Goal 4: Master the paper draft writing and data interpretation skills of "human-computer collaboration".
Students can use academic-specific prompts to guide AI to assist in writing the first draft of each chapter, and can use AI's objective perspective to assist in interpreting research methods and statistical data, improving writing efficiency and productivity.
3. Critical Thinking and Academic Integrity
Goal 5: Develop critical skills for independent judgment and proactive management of AI output.
Students can identify possible hallucinations or blind spots in AI output and not be led away by AI; they can also verify AI responses, compare them with academic standards, and implement an "active management" mentality.
Goal 6: Internalize the academic ethics of generative AI.
Students can clearly understand the policies and boundaries of AI use in domestic and foreign academic publishing, master compliant usage methods and citation disclosure principles, and ensure that research results comply with academic integrity.
4. Advanced Writing Rhetoric and Product Output
Goal 7: Master the academic rewriting and polishing skills to “remove the AI flavor”.
Students can skillfully use rewriting strategies such as paragraph reorganization, strengthening transitions, and strengthening empirical evidence, and can adjust the tone for different chapters (such as the introduction of the introduction, the dialogue of the discussion chapter), so that the text has both academic professionalism and the "human touch" of a researcher.
Goal 8: Complete a monograph paper with potential for manuscript submission or publication.
Students can experience a complete research life cycle, produce a monograph with complete structure and clear argumentation at the end of the semester, and have the basic knowledge to evaluate submissions to international journals/symposiums and respond to review comments.
