Ancient Rome was particularly successful in military, political, and social organization. Ancient Rome tolerated different races and people and was one of the greatest empires. Courses cover Early Italy, the Birth of Rome, the Republic, Octavian, and the Late Roman Empire, and include discussions on topics such as: society, culture, slaves, family, and women.
