Introduction to Teaching Chinese as a Second Language
教育目標 Course Target
對外華語教學與國語文教學不同。國語文教學的教學對象是已充分習得華語的學習者,對外華語教學的教學對象則是未習得或未充分習得華語的學習者。因此,對外華語教師在課堂上經常面臨的難題是:老師說的,學生聽不懂;學生說的,老師也聽不懂。為了解決上述難題,對外華語教師必須深入了解有關對外華語教學的各種理論,並依據這些理論來調整自己的教學策略與教學行為。
本課程是對外華語教學法的入門課程,聚焦於「對外華語教學的重要理論」、「華語教師課堂話語的設計」、「華語學習者中介語的解讀」、「華語學習者語言能力的評估標準」四項議題,透過教師講述與師生共同討論,引導學生認識對外華語教學的理論與實務,並幫助學生培養對外華語教學的專業能力。
Teaching Chinese as a foreign language is different from teaching Chinese. The teaching targets of Chinese language teaching are learners who have fully acquired Chinese, while the teaching targets of teaching Chinese as a foreign language are learners who have not acquired or insufficiently acquired Chinese. Therefore, teachers of Chinese as a foreign language often face problems in the classroom: students cannot understand what the teacher says; teachers cannot understand what the students say. In order to solve the above problems, teachers of Chinese as a foreign language must have an in-depth understanding of various theories about teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and adjust their teaching strategies and teaching behaviors based on these theories.
This course is an introductory course on teaching Chinese as a foreign language. It focuses on four topics: "Important theories of teaching Chinese as a foreign language", "Design of classroom discourse for Chinese language teachers", "Interpretation of Chinese language learners' interlanguage", and "Evaluation criteria for Chinese language learners' language proficiency". Through teachers' narration and discussions with teachers and students, it guides students to understand the theory and practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and helps students develop professional abilities in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
