本課程為中文系「漢語通論」上學期課程，採問題導向學習（Problem-Based Learning, PBL）方式進行，以學生日常生活中常見的語言現象為起點，引導學生觀察、提問、蒐集語料、分析規律，進而建立對漢語語言系統及其歷史發展的整體認識。課程兼顧語言學基本理論與漢語特色，強調漢語作為一種歷時演變中的語言，如何在語音、詞彙、語法與語義等層面持續變化，並透過語言反映人類的認知方式與文化經驗。

This course is the first-semester course of "General Introduction to Chinese" in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature. It adopts the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method. It starts from common language phenomena in students' daily life and guides students to observe, ask questions, collect corpus, and analyze patterns, thereby establishing an overall understanding of the Chinese language system and its historical development. The course takes into account the basic theories of linguistics and the characteristics of the Chinese language, emphasizing how Chinese, as a language that is evolving over time, continues to change at the levels of pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and semantics, and reflects human cognitive styles and cultural experiences through language.
