Ecological Restoration in Theory and Practice

教育目標 Course Target

本課程旨在培養學生整合生態理論與工程實踐的專業能力。課程首先建立生態系統服務、景觀生態學及氣候變遷的理論基礎,進而教授在不同空間尺度(從國土規劃到都市棲地)進行生態規劃與復育的策略方法。核心內容包括生態網絡規劃、水域與海岸復育、濕地營造等關鍵議題,並強調運用生態工程原理與指標物種進行設計。透過案例研討與實作規劃,學生將學習如何擬定具體的生態復育方案,並最終以提升生態系統服務功能為目標,評估與檢視營造工程之生態效益。

This course aims to cultivate students' professional ability to integrate ecological theory and engineering practice. The course first establishes the theoretical basis of ecosystem services, landscape ecology and climate change, and then teaches strategic methods for ecological planning and restoration at different spatial scales (from territorial planning to urban habitats). The core content includes key topics such as ecological network planning, water and coastal restoration, and wetland creation, and emphasizes the use of ecological engineering principles and indicator species for design. Through case study and implementation planning, students will learn how to formulate specific ecological restoration plans, and ultimately evaluate and review the ecological benefits of construction projects with the goal of improving ecosystem service functions.
