本課程之目的在探討『人生其實是一個不斷製造問題與解決問題的過程。』說明每一個人都需要具備問題解決的能力。問題解決能力的強弱不僅關係到工作表現的績效，也會影響生活的品質，尤其對於管理人員而言，所要面對的不僅僅是自己的問題、 還有部屬的問題、公司的問題等等， 因此良好的問題解決能力，更是必須具備的基本要件！
身為成功經理人的必要條件中，問題分析與決策相關的就占了三分之二，可以看出對一個管理者而言，擁有分析問題、解決問題，以及做出適當決策的能力是多麼重要。本課程藉由探索，分析，實作，討論，個案研討，建立一套系統化的行為模式協助學生提升探索問題，智慧解決問題的能力。
