教育目標 Course Target

本課程旨在藉由深入剖析台灣餐旅文化及觀光發展歷程,帶領學生全面探討餐旅與觀光產業的本質、範疇及其對經濟、社會文化與環境永續的深遠影響。
> 課程設計涵蓋八大核心主題:文化、節慶、產業、都市、生態、原住民、主題樂園與風景區、國家公園與保護區。我們將從消費者行為的角度出發,分析不同類型的住宿與服務如何反映觀光多樣性潮流,並探討如何透過資源的有效利用,創造出具備競爭力的利基產品(Niche Products)。
> 在追求利潤與品質的同時,本課程更將「公益實踐與 ESG 永續」視為關鍵亮點。透過各主題的案例研討(如原住民觀光的文化保存、產業觀光的社會企業模式),引導學生思考如何在開發觀光產品時,兼顧商業效益與社會責任(如照顧弱勢),以開創具備人本關懷的台灣觀光新價值。

This course aims to lead students to comprehensively explore the nature and scope of the hospitality and tourism industry and its profound impact on the economy, society, culture and environmental sustainability through an in-depth analysis of the development history of Taiwan's hospitality culture and tourism.
> The course design covers eight core themes: culture, festivals, industry, cities, ecology, indigenous peoples, theme parks and scenic spots, and national parks and protected areas. From the perspective of consumer behavior, we will analyze how different types of accommodation and services reflect the trend of tourism diversity, and explore how to create competitive niche products (Niche Products) through the effective use of resources.
> While pursuing profits and quality, this course also regards "philanthropic practices and ESG sustainability" as key highlights. Through case studies on various topics (such as the cultural preservation of aboriginal tourism, the social enterprise model of industrial tourism), students are guided to think about how to take into account commercial benefits and social responsibilities (such as caring for the disadvantaged) when developing tourism products, so as to create new value for Taiwan tourism with humanistic care.
