Special Topics in Substance Abuse and Social Work

教育目標 Course Target

本課程帶領同學重新認識成癮行為及其特性，從不同物質或行為成癮的成因，瞭解成癮在人類歷史及各種社會情境脈絡中的多元樣態，以及探討助人者在面對成癮議題時所持的意識型態，當社會工作在陪伴及服務成癮社群時，增進學生在分流分眾處遇時可運用的學理知識與實務介入模式，並習得成癮行為處遇與專業評估成效的能力。

This course leads students to re-understand addictive behavior and its characteristics, from the causes of addiction to different substances or behaviors, to understand the diverse forms of addiction in human history and various social contexts, and to explore the ideologies held by helpers when facing addiction issues. When social workers accompany and serve the addicted community, it enhances the academic knowledge and practical intervention models that students can use in diversion and separation, and acquires the ability to deal with addictive behaviors and professionally evaluate the effectiveness.
