教育目標 Course Target
The primary goal of this course is to systematically study the principles of designing and implementing service projects/programs. Through learning and understanding the course content, students will be able to apply the acquired concepts and methods to future social service practice. The course equips students with the ability to analyze phenomena, diagnose problems, integrate creativity, and design projects/programs that meet the needs of service users, while ensuring logical coherence, accessibility, feasibility, and effectiveness.
Course Objectives
1.Discuss what constitutes a social work program, the theoretical foundations of accountability in social services, and the issues and diverse perspectives involved in providing a series of re-sponsible and trustworthy social work projects/programs.
2.Explain how to define and describe social problems, assess both community-wide and indi-vidual service user needs, and explore the kinds of changes that social work projects/programs can bring about.
3.Describe the essential components of a social work projects/programs, including various inter-actions in service delivery, the process of service provision, program funding, and supervision during implementation.
4.Examine the positioning and operation of social work projects/programs from the perspective of organizational settings, the relationships among different service programs, and how in-formation management systems can assist in project/program design and operation.
5.Discuss how to evaluate and assess the outcomes and effectiveness of social service pro-jects/programs, thereby demonstrating the effectiveness, accountability, and reliability of so-cial services.
