健康不僅受生物與個人選擇影響，還受到社會、文化與政治經濟因素的形塑。本課程探討健康不平等（Health Inequalities）及影響健康的社會決定因素（Social Determinants of Health, SDoH），並以社會正義作為核心概念，分析健康不平等現象，包括種族、族裔、性別、社會階級等群體間的差異。本課程將討論：「社會結構如何影響人們的健康？」「哪些社會因素導致健康不平等？」「我們如何透過政策與行動來促進健康公平？」課程將探討不同社會層面的影響，包括教育、居住環境、醫療資源可及性、氣候變遷，並探討全球化如何加劇或減緩健康不平等。

Health is not only influenced by biology and personal choices, but is also shaped by social, cultural and political and economic factors. This course explores health inequalities (Health Inequalities) and Social Determinants of Health (SDoH), and uses social justice as the core concept to analyze health inequalities, including differences between racial, ethnic, gender, social class and other groups. This course will discuss: "How do social structures affect people's health?" "What social factors lead to health inequalities?" "How do we promote health equity through policies and actions?" The course will explore the impacts at different social levels, including education, living environment, access to medical resources, climate change, and explore how globalization exacerbates or mitigates health inequalities.
