本堂課提供同學深度學習各種國際關係理論以及國際安全相關文獻的理解。學期前半部安排聚焦於國際關係理論的深度辯論，後半學期則延伸至國際安全裡領域中的合作衝突模型，尤其是國際談判部分則包含衝突中的談判以及國家間合作的談判。

在課堂互動部分，除了學生需進行的各週指定文章導讀及討論之外，也安排了導師知識點講解以及影片觀賞。期待透過文章閱讀的主動學習，搭配知識點講解以及影片提供的實際案例，學生可以融會貫通學術知識並加以實務運用。修習此課程也有助於提升文字使用能力及邏輯思辨能力，並學習專業學術文章的撰寫技巧，以及進階研究方法的使用。

This class provides students with an in-depth understanding of various international relations theories and international security-related literature. The first half of the semester focuses on in-depth debates on international relations theory, while the second half of the semester extends to cooperation and conflict models in the field of international security. In particular, the international negotiation part includes negotiation in conflict and negotiation of cooperation between countries.

In the interactive part of the class, in addition to the introduction and discussion of designated articles for each week that students need to conduct, there are also arrangements for instructors to explain knowledge points and watch videos. It is expected that through active learning through article reading, coupled with explanations of knowledge points and practical cases provided by videos, students can integrate academic knowledge and apply it in practice. Taking this course will also help you improve your ability to use words and logical thinking, and learn the writing skills of professional academic articles, as well as the use of advanced research methods.
