教育目標 Course Target
本課程將以台灣日治時期台灣作家創作之小說作品為主軸。延續上學期閱讀日治時期台灣作家作品的幾種面向，本學期將集中在殖民政府如何鞏固殖民正當性，以及向世界宣揚其殖民政績所實踐的現代化工程之下，造成被殖民者的種種傷害。期透過閱讀作品之後，理解台灣殖民時期建立的各項基礎建設，一方面使台灣環境進步許多，但另一方面未能及時顧及百姓的各種矛盾。更進一步，希望引領學生思考，殖民社會的決絕帶給被殖民者的是何種觀點，又如何造就現今的社會。
This course will focus on novels written by Taiwanese writers during the Japanese occupation of Taiwan. Continuing the several aspects of reading the works of Taiwanese writers during the Japanese colonial period last semester, this semester will focus on how the colonial government consolidated the legitimacy of colonization and the various harms caused to the colonized people under the modernization project implemented by promoting its colonial achievements to the world. After reading the works in this period, I understood that the various infrastructures established during Taiwan's colonial period, on the one hand, made Taiwan's environment a lot better, but on the other hand, they failed to take into account the various conflicts of the people in a timely manner. Furthermore, I hope to lead students to think about what kind of perspective the colonial society brought to the colonized people, and how it created today's society.
