Sustainable Issues in Society
教育目標 Course Target
本課程為通識課「永續社會」,以「東海校園與周邊地景/步道」作為學習場域,回應當代社會面對的環境與社會挑戰:土地利用競合、生物多樣性喪失、景觀資源劣化、遊憩壓力上升,以及氣候變遷下風險與管理成本的增加。課程強調景觀資源不只是「好看的風景」,更是自然與文化交織的共同資產:承載生態功能、歷史記憶、日常生活與地方認同;當人們使用、改變與消費景觀時,也同時形塑了資源的永續性,因此需要被理解、被溝通、並被共同守護。
課程設計呼應聯合國永續發展目標(SDGs)目標13(氣候行動)與目標17(夥伴關係),以生活化案例引導學生建立四個核心能力
This course is a general course "Sustainable Society". It uses "Dunghai Campus and surrounding landscapes/trails" as the learning site to respond to the environmental and social challenges faced by contemporary society: competing land uses, loss of biodiversity, deterioration of landscape resources, rising recreational pressure, and increasing risks and management costs under climate change. The course emphasizes that landscape resources are not just "beautiful scenery", but also a common asset intertwined with nature and culture: carrying ecological functions, historical memories, daily life and local identity; when people use, change and consume landscapes, they also shape the sustainability of resources, so they need to be understood, communicated and jointly protected.
The course design echoes the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Goal 13 (Climate Action) and Goal 17 (Partnership), and uses real-life cases to guide students to build four core competencies.
