教育目標 Course Target
台灣原住民族文化具有豐富的文化多樣性與生態智慧,是理解台灣社會、土地倫理與族群文化的重要基礎。本課程將以跨學科的角度,從人類學、歷史學、社會學與文化研究的面向切入,帶領學生認識台灣原住民族的起源與分布、族群分類、社會制度與生活智慧、祭儀與信仰系統,以及物質文化的藝術表現。同時,本課程亦將探討原住民族在不同歷史階段中所面對的挑戰,包括與漢族社會的互動、日本殖民政策的影響,以及戰後國家治理下的社會處境。
進入當代以後,本課程將延伸至原住民族的教育、人權與土地議題、社會運動與文化復振,並關注其在文學、影視與流行音樂中的再現與自我表述。課程強調的不僅是知識傳授,更重視批判思考與文化反思,期望學生能從多元文化的觀點,理解台灣社會的複雜結構,並培養對原住民族文化的尊重與跨文化理解能力。透過講授、影片欣賞、個案研討、小組討論與田野走讀,學生將能在理論與實務之間建立連結,進而形成對台灣原住民族文化的整體性認識。
Taiwan's aboriginal culture is rich in cultural diversity and ecological wisdom, and is an important foundation for understanding Taiwan's society, land ethics and ethnic culture. This course will take an interdisciplinary perspective and approach from the aspects of anthropology, history, sociology and cultural studies, leading students to understand the origin and distribution of Taiwan's aboriginal peoples, ethnic classification, social systems and life wisdom, rituals and belief systems, as well as the artistic expression of material culture. At the same time, this course will also explore the challenges faced by indigenous peoples in different historical stages, including interactions with Han society, the impact of Japanese colonial policies, and the social situation under postwar national governance.
After entering the contemporary era, this course will extend to the education, human rights and land issues, social movements and cultural revitalization of indigenous peoples, and focus on their representation and self-expression in literature, film, television and popular music. The course emphasizes not only the transfer of knowledge, but also critical thinking and cultural reflection. It is expected that students can understand the complex structure of Taiwanese society from a multicultural perspective, and develop respect for indigenous cultures and cross-cultural understanding. Through lectures, video appreciation, case studies, group discussions and field trips, students will be able to establish connections between theory and practice, thereby forming a holistic understanding of Taiwan's aboriginal culture.
