教育目標 Course Target

(一)人文領域課程目標:
引導學生對宗教信仰進行相關思辨及其啟迪相關人文精神之涵養。
(二)本課程之實質意涵:
佛法自漢代時期正式東傳中土,經魏晉時期之消化,繼隋唐時期之發展,歷宋明時期之轉變,在中華文化思想發展史上具重要之地位。印度佛學若無華夏此豐沃之土壤予以落地、成長,則無當今之法傳;而中華文化若無印度佛學思想之潤澤,則無今日之氣候。兩者之間,相互影響並且交融和合。若能研習、理解佛學思想之要義,則有助於深入體證東方文化之重要思維模式及其特殊性格;本課程更加希望學習者能吸收其無上之智慧,並且能藉此發用於生活當中,以對應、解決此生之種種生命課題。

(1) Course objectives in the field of humanities:
Guide students to think about religious beliefs and inspire relevant humanistic spiritual cultivation.
(2) The essential meaning of this course:
Buddhism officially spread eastward to China during the Han Dynasty, was digested in the Wei and Jin dynasties, developed in the Sui and Tang dynasties, and experienced changes in the Song and Ming dynasties. It plays an important role in the history of the development of Chinese culture and thought. If Indian Buddhism had not been grounded and grown in the fertile soil of China, there would be no Dharma transmission today; and if Chinese culture had not been nourished by Indian Buddhist thought, it would not have the climate it has today. The two influence each other and blend together. If you can study and understand the essence of Buddhist thought, it will help you deeply understand the important thinking patterns and special characteristics of Eastern culture. This course further hopes that learners can absorb its supreme wisdom and use it in life to respond to and solve various life issues in this life.
