課程目標及內涵 (Course Objectives and Contents) -本課程為全程英文授課
本課程主要以英文為主要語言透過各種不同的溝通方式與規劃的互動模式,其互動的溝通內容除了英文語義產生的互動外也會帶入藝術的美學提升溝通的多元性。
課程設計除了提升英文語文能力外也同時可以學習生活溝通、美學能力….以及語言與藝術在溝通上的差異。讓溝通這一件事在生活或不同專業上的領域都能很順暢、很優雅、很有獨特的專業性。綜上所述;本課程可以提昇溝通上的氣勢、氣度與氣質為本課程的要旨。本課程主要分為三個部分如下所示:
第一部分:英語藝術史介紹
本章主要介紹十五、十六世紀中世紀時期的文藝復興(Renaissance)、表現主義(Expressionism)等,十七、十八世紀巴洛克(Baroque) 和洛可可 (Rococo) 藝術,十九世紀浪漫主義(Romanticism),維多利亞藝術(Victoria art),二十世紀立體主義(Cubism),達達(DADA),超現實主義藝術(Surrealism)等。將簡要介紹每個時期的藝術史及相關的英文詞彙,同時向學習者介紹當時最具指標性的藝術家和藝術品,並激發學習者在藝術領域的溝通和興趣。
第二部分:英語藝術術語及藝術相關的溝通表達方式
本部分將介紹藝術美學詞彙、術語及不同藝術情況下的溝通對話(如到美術館如何用英語交談和欣賞藝術時可以使用的英文表達方式⋯⋯等),針對藝術領域特殊需要的特定用法⋯⋯等。
第三部分:成就驗收和小組討論
本課程的最後一部分將對學習者所吸收的內容做驗收。學習者會運用他們從課堂中學到的藝術知識及相關的英文詞彙,從彼此討論及溝通中介紹他們所喜歡的藝術或藝術家。
課程中也進行小組討論。
Course Objectives and Contents - This course is taught entirely in English
This course mainly uses English as the main language through various communication methods and planned interaction modes. In addition to the interaction generated by English semantics, the interactive communication content will also bring in the aesthetics of art to enhance the diversity of communication.
In addition to improving English language skills, the course design also allows students to learn about life communication, aesthetic abilities... and the differences in communication between language and art. Make communication smooth, elegant, and uniquely professional in all areas of life or different professions. To sum up, this course can improve the momentum, magnanimity and temperament of communication as the gist of this course. This course is mainly divided into three parts as follows:
Part One: Introduction to Art History in English
This chapter mainly introduces the Renaissance, Expressionism, etc. in the medieval period of the 15th and 16th centuries, Baroque and Rococo art in the 17th and 18th centuries, Romanticism, Victoria art in the 19th century, Cubism, DADA, Surrealism, etc. in the 20th century. It will briefly introduce the art history and related English vocabulary of each period, while introducing learners to the most iconic artists and artworks at that time, and stimulating learners' communication and interest in the field of art.
Part 2: English art terminology and art-related communication expressions
This part will introduce the vocabulary and terminology of art aesthetics and communication dialogues in different art situations (such as how to talk in English in an art museum and the English expressions that can be used when appreciating art... etc.), specific usage for special needs in the art field... etc.
Part Three: Achievement Acceptance and Group Discussion
The final part of the course will be a check on what the learner has absorbed. Learners will use the art knowledge and related English vocabulary they learned in class to introduce their favorite art or artists through discussions and communication with each other.
Group discussions also take place during the course.
