Introduction to Climate Justice

教育目標 Course Target

• Develop and demonstrate critical thinking skills in relation to the topic of climate change and explain it both as a source of social injustice and as an opportunity for systemic change.
• Identify and critically analyze real-world instances of climate injustice by applying diverse theoretical concepts and deconstructing the interlinkages of social and environmental processes that have led to these injustices.
• Explain and apply the diversity of knowledge on climate change and climate justice originating from different places, cultures, and disciplines, and interpret climate injustice using contrasting theoretical perspectives.
• Develop an ability to effectively communicate climate change and climate injustice issues to specialized and non-specialized audiences using both textual and non-textual formats.
• Suggest potential solutions to climate change and climate injustice that are transformative, equitable and applicable to diverse places and social contexts.
