本課程目標為引導學生，運用各種材料與加工方法，學習以概念模型來呈現其設計想法之過程。
課程內容從現有產品案例說明開始，拆解分件，探討製作成型方式。進而帶入各式材料特性與搭配適合之加工方式，了解可能產生之質感與效果。
課程中練習切割打磨配合上色塗裝之做法，改變物件表面光澤及色彩。且同時帶入塑形與翻模原理，理解模型樣品與批量生產之間的過程差異。
本課程著重於外觀件，以市售量產品分件原理轉換為模型製作，讓學生以手作配合3D列印進行零件組合，使其思考組裝流程與後加工應用於產品開發之進程。

The goal of this course is to guide students to use various materials and processing methods to learn the process of presenting their design ideas with conceptual models.
The content of the course starts from the description of existing product cases, dismantling the parts, and discussing the manufacturing methods. Then introduce various material properties and suitable processing methods to understand the possible textures and effects.
In the course, you will practice cutting, grinding and painting to change the surface gloss and color of the object. At the same time, the principles of shaping and mold turning are introduced to understand the process differences between model samples and mass production.
This course focuses on appearance parts and converts the principle of commercially available product parts into model production. It allows students to assemble parts by hand and 3D printing, allowing students to think about the assembly process and post-processing applied to product development.
