教育目標 Course Target

本課程以現代巨型觀光賭場飯店(Mega Casino Hotels)與高端俱樂部為場域,結合「實務操作」、「學術理論」與「創新設計」三大模組。
課程首先帶領學生掌握世界最熱門的三款博弈遊戲:Black Jack (二十一點)、Texas Hold'em (德州撲克) 與 Casino War (賭場戰爭) 的操作與數學邏輯。進階部分引入 學術期刊 (Journal Articles) 導讀,培養學生以實證數據分析賭場經營績效的能力。此外,特別解析 「賽局理論 (Game Theory)」,探討政策制定者與經營者之間的拉鋸,並將博弈邏輯延伸至個人職涯與人生決策。
期末專題將要求學生模擬博弈研發部門,設計一款兼具娛樂性與數學機率邏輯的原創博弈桌遊,從設計者角度深刻理解管理規則的制定。

This course takes modern mega casino hotels and high-end clubs as the venue, and combines three modules of "practical operation", "academic theory" and "innovative design".
The course first leads students to master the operations and mathematical logic of three of the world's most popular gambling games: Black Jack, Texas Hold'em and Casino War. The advanced part introduces the introduction to academic journals (Journal Articles) to cultivate students' ability to analyze casino operating performance with empirical data. In addition, "Game Theory" is specially analyzed to explore the tug-of-war between policymakers and operators, and extend the logic of the game to personal career and life decisions.
The final topic will require students to simulate the game research and development department to design an original game board game that is both entertaining and mathematical probability logic, and have a deep understanding of the formulation of management rules from the designer's perspective.
