本課程在教授學生飼料產業現況及趨勢，並介紹一般動物飼料中的常用原料、製造技術及影響動物消化吸收飼料的因素，並說動物營養需要量如何擬定，以及在飼料需要注意之品質管制條件與相關規範，同時輔助範例的導入:包括業界實務或科技研究之範例，讓學生認識飼料產業的研究新知與市場動態，協助讓學生在基礎理論的修習外，知道如何運用知識於未來就業領域上，期能輔助學生學以致用。

This course teaches students the current status and trends of the feed industry, and introduces the commonly used raw materials in general animal feeds, manufacturing technologies and factors that affect animal digestion and absorption of feeds. It also explains how to formulate animal nutritional requirements, as well as the quality control conditions and related specifications that need to be paid attention to in feeds. It also assists in the introduction of examples: including examples of industry practice or technological research, allowing students to understand new research knowledge and market trends in the feed industry, and helping students to know how to apply knowledge in future employment fields in addition to basic theoretical training. It is expected to help students apply what they have learned.
