教育目標 Course Target

「性別與社會工作」是一門以社會工作專業知能為基礎,全面擁抱性別敏感度與批判視角的進階選修課程。本課程的核心目標為打破既有的「性別盲」思維,培養學生從微視個案到鉅視結構的性別分析能力,。
課程之初,將建立紮實的性別議題基礎。學生將深入探討「性別即政治」的論述,理解性別差異如何被權力體制所宰制,並解析父權體制的運作邏輯與歷史脈絡,如何使性別平等的窒礙難行。透過對性別建構的批判性理解,作為後續的實務應用基礎。
課程的第二部分,將聚焦於文化建構。從分析文化文本如何潛移默化地內化、鞏固、挑戰性別刻板印象。深入探討童話故事、主流媒體中的性別符號,以及清明節等傳統禮俗中隱含的家庭排序與性別分工。從實例中了解病具體化社會的結構性壓迫樣貌,性別壓迫具體存在於生活的每個角落
進一步,課程將引導學生看見特定弱勢議題與實務社會現象。探究如戰爭性暴力等由國家極端造成的體制傷害,培養社工專業面對創傷與權力侵害的服務介入能力。同時,剖析日常生活中常見但不易被察覺的性別不平等現象剖析,如「月經不平等」所反映的資源分配與污名化問題、以性別友善廁所為例討論「性別與空間」,最後探究家庭結構中的「性別與家庭排序」如何造成照顧責任的傾斜與不公。
另外,課程將安排演講、參訪、電影賞析、教案實作等多元化教學方式讓「無處不性別」的概念實踐於生活。
本課程除了增進同學對於性別的想像,透過引導學生將性別觀點融入社會工作實務,對抗潛藏的性別歧視與厭女情結,並透過設計創新的社會工作介入策略和方案,以促進性別正義。

"Gender and Social Work" is an advanced elective course based on the professional knowledge of social work and fully embracing gender sensitivity and critical perspectives. The core goal of this course is to break the existing "gender-blind" thinking and cultivate students' gender analysis abilities from microscopic cases to macroscopic structures.
At the beginning of the course, a solid foundation in gender issues will be established. Students will delve into the discussion of "gender is politics", understand how gender differences are dominated by the power system, and analyze the operating logic and historical context of the patriarchal system to make it difficult to achieve gender equality. Through a critical understanding of gender construction as a basis for subsequent practical application.
The second part of the course will focus on cultural construction. From the analysis of how cultural texts subtly internalize, consolidate, and challenge gender stereotypes. An in-depth exploration of gender symbols in fairy tales and mainstream media, as well as the family ordering and gender division of labor implicit in traditional rituals such as Tomb-Sweeping Day. Learn from examples how disease embodies structural oppression in society, and gender oppression exists in every corner of life.
Furthermore, the course will guide students to see specific disadvantaged issues and practical social phenomena. Explore the institutional harm caused by state extremism, such as war-related sexual violence, and cultivate the social work profession's service intervention capabilities in the face of trauma and power violations. At the same time, it analyzes common but not easily noticed gender inequalities in daily life, such as the resource distribution and stigmatization issues reflected in "menstrual inequality", discusses "gender and space" using gender-friendly toilets as an example, and finally explores how "gender and family ordering" in the family structure results in tilted and unfair care responsibilities.
In addition, the course will arrange diversified teaching methods such as lectures, visits, film appreciation, and lesson plan implementation to put the concept of "gender everywhere" into practice in life.
In addition to enhancing students' imagination about gender, this course also guides students to integrate gender perspectives into social work practice, combat hidden sexism and misogyny, and promote gender justice by designing innovative social work intervention strategies and programs.

「性別與社會工作」是針對大三的選修課程,課程的規劃主要是從「性別」的視角出發,從女權運動與女性主義觀點的發展脈絡,了解女性生命歷程的的特性與多樣化,傾聽女性的聲音與經驗,探討潛藏在社會中性別歧視與厭女情結如何影響其權益。透過一系列與性別相關的主題式議題:生命歷程、家庭照顧、勞動參與、親密關係暴力、性侵害、性騷擾、性剝削與同志運動/跨性別等,協助學生了解性別弱勢之群體經驗,結合社會工作實務專業知能,從微視到鉅視之觀點,深入剖析性別弱勢在社會結構面所遭遇到的各種問題與挑戰,打破「性別盲」(gender-blind)的桎梏,促進實質的性別平等。

"Gender and Social Work" is an elective course for junior students. The course planning is mainly from the perspective of "gender", from the development context of the feminist movement and feminist perspectives, to understand the characteristics and diversity of women's life courses, to listen to women's voices and experiences, and to explore how hidden sexism and misogyny in society affect their rights and interests. Through a series of gender-related thematic topics: life course, family care, labor participation, intimate relationship violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, sexual exploitation and gay movement/transgender, etc., it helps students understand the experiences of gender disadvantaged groups, combines the professional knowledge of social work practice, and provides an in-depth analysis of various problems and challenges encountered by gender disadvantage in the social structure from a microscopic to macroscopic perspective, breaking the shackles of "gender-blind" and promoting substantive gender equality.
