【課程目標】：引導同學從節選出的社會(學)理論文本 (20-21世紀) 中，辨識關鍵的社會(學) 理論問題與經驗現象的解釋，強化自己在抽象思考、基本概念跟經驗現象來回穿梭的能力。

【課程架構】暫訂以下三個問題領域 (正式版，請見開學第一週課綱)：
1.) 現代文化的危機
2.) 權力、結構、場域
3.) 互動與意義的世界

[Course Objectives]: Guide students to identify key social (study) theoretical issues and explanations of empirical phenomena from selected social (study) theoretical texts (20th-21st centuries), and strengthen their ability to shuttle between abstract thinking, basic concepts and empirical phenomena.

[Course Structure] The following three problem areas are tentatively scheduled (for the official version, please see the syllabus for the first week of school):
1.) The crisis of modern culture
2.) Power, structure, field
3.) A world of interaction and meaning
