讀政治系的人對於國內時局與國際政治都有一種先天擁有與後天培養的敏感度。一個敏銳的政治科學家/政治哲學家，基本上要具有全觀與多角併陳的胸襟，但這並不代表在了解全局與釐清爭點之後不能夠有自己的立場。但立場最好都應該是奠基在掌握事實與好的分析架構之後再來產生，通常這樣的立場就比較能夠具有說服力。而說服力又通常展現在這樣的立場對一般人來說容易理解、可以引起共鳴，與具有後續論述疊加上去的空間。

這堂課「政治評論與寫作」為授課老師超過廿年撰寫政治評論的心血結晶，修習這堂課的同學，不僅可以學到怎樣迅速掌握一件國內外的政治新聞事件的來龍去脈，更可以學到理解不同的分析架構，與在眾多分析架構中採取某一與本身價值觀與政治信仰接近的架構，進而發展出具有創見的全新架構。同學在這堂課將會面對國內外不同的政治突發事件，並且在授課老師引導下找尋適合的國內外文獻，不管是偏學術的、科普的或者只是新聞報導/分析的文章，並運用這些「硬知識」來構築自己的論述。最後可以選擇在老師的鼓勵下投稿媒體。「政治評論與寫作」並不偏重學術訓練，而是聚焦在訓練同學政治實務的判斷與分析能力，以及運用筆下春秋，撰寫出一篇篇擲地有聲、廣為流傳並且享有網路聲量的政治評論文。此為全新課程，對於AI時代的政治專修生與其他科系的選修生，都是一門有趣與實用的課程。

This class "Political Commentary and Writing" is the brainchild of the instructor who has been writing political commentary for more than 20 years. Students who take this class will not only learn how to quickly grasp the ins and outs of a domestic and international political news event, but also learn to understand different analytical frameworks and adopt a framework that is close to their own values ​​and political beliefs among many analytical frameworks, thereby developing a new and innovative framework. In this class, students will face different political emergencies at home and abroad, and under the guidance of the instructor, they will search for suitable domestic and foreign documents, whether they are academic, popular science or just news reports/analysis articles, and use these "hard knowledge" to construct their own arguments. Finally, you can choose to contribute to the media with the encouragement of the teacher. "Political Commentary and Writing" does not focus on academic training, but focuses on training students' ability to judge and analyze political practice, and to use their pens to write political commentaries that are resounding, widely circulated and enjoy online popularity. This is a brand-new course. It is an interesting and practical course for politics majors and elective students from other departments in the AI ​​era.
