課程以個體經濟學的理論為基礎，並以基礎的賽局理論為架構，探討廠商間的互動行為對產業的影響。課程著重學生策略性思考的訓練，培養學生對於各產業中廠商策略的分析能力，從而完成個案研究。課程講授將儘量配合產業現況及個案分析，使學生有能力將產業組織理論應用於實際議題。課程主要內容包含：廠商理論的簡介、產業結構指標的介紹及廠商進出的影響因素、賽局理論與寡占理論、廠商的勾結與訂價行為、垂直整合與分工、產品差異化、政府的政策管制。

The course is based on the theory of individual economics and uses basic game theory as a framework to explore the impact of interactions between manufacturers on the industry. The course focuses on the training of students' strategic thinking, cultivating students' ability to analyze the strategies of manufacturers in various industries, so as to complete case studies. The course teaching will try to match the current industrial situation and case analysis to enable students to apply industrial organization theory to practical issues. The main content of the course includes: an introduction to manufacturer theory, an introduction to industrial structure indicators and factors affecting the entry and exit of manufacturers, competition theory and oligopoly theory, collusion and pricing behavior of manufacturers, vertical integration and division of labor, product differentiation, and government policy controls.

產業組織是經濟學科中發展較迅速、理論較創新並且是與現實經濟緊密結合的領域之一。本課程以個體經濟學的基本理論為基礎，以基礎賽局理論為架構，探討廠商間的互動行為對產業的影響。課程主要圍繞產業內廠商之間的獨佔與競爭關係行為，不同市場結構之特性與差異，以及政府制訂的反壟斷與管制政策相關的理論基礎。此外，課程中亦配合產業現況及個案的討論以引發學生對產業組織理論的認識，進而產生興趣，培養學生具備分析能力以了解各產業環境及政府政策在實務上所面臨的課題。

Industrial organization is one of the fields in economic disciplines that develops rapidly, has innovative theories, and is closely integrated with the real economy. This course is based on the basic theory of individual economics and uses basic game theory as a framework to explore the impact of interactive behavior among manufacturers on the industry. The course mainly focuses on the monopoly and competitive relationships among manufacturers in the industry, the characteristics and differences of different market structures, and the theoretical basis related to anti-monopoly and regulatory policies formulated by the government. In addition, the course also incorporates discussions of current industry conditions and case studies to arouse students' understanding of industrial organization theory and thereby generate interest, and cultivate students' analytical skills to understand the practical issues faced by various industrial environments and government policies.
