Low-cost Drone Design and Implementation Through Creative Manufacturing
教育目標 Course Target
本課程是一門實作導向的課程,課程的核心是引導學生運用 3D 建模軟體,並實際操作 3D 列印機與 mini CNC 機台,以打造低成本、軟硬體開源無人機之客製化機構或機體零件,以針對開源無人機進行功能上的客製化。學生將學習無人機硬體組裝,包含飛控、動力系統與各式感測器,並整合 PX4 與 ArduPilot 等開源飛控軟體平台。課程也會導入 Microsoft AirSim 數位孿生環境 ,供學生進行無人機飛控軟體的開發與模擬測試。教學方法融合 BOPPPS 模式與鷹架理論進行基礎授課。接著會導入計畫導向學習 (PjBL)、問題導向學習 (PBL) 與團隊導向學習 (TBL) 的混合模式,學生將以團隊形式,運用設計思考及 LLM 輔助的結對程式設計,完成一项客製化的無人機期末專題,同時培養學生創新與解決問題的能力。
This course is a practice-oriented course. The core of the course is to guide students to use 3D modeling software and actually operate 3D printers and mini CNC machines to create customized mechanisms or body parts for low-cost, software and hardware open source drones, so as to customize the functions of open source drones. Students will learn UAV hardware assembly, including flight control, power system and various sensors, and integrate open source flight control software platforms such as PX4 and ArduPilot. The course will also import the Microsoft AirSim digital twin environment for students to develop and simulate testing of drone flight control software. The teaching method integrates the BOPPPS model and scaffolding theory to provide basic teaching. Then a hybrid model of Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Team-Based Learning (TBL) will be introduced. Students will work in teams, using design thinking and LLM-assisted pair programming to complete a customized drone final project, while cultivating students' innovation and problem-solving abilities.
