Computer Application in Environmental Study
教育目標 Course Target
本課程旨在培養學生運用數位工具解決環境工程與資料分析問題之基礎能力,整合學術文書編輯、資料處理、資料視覺化、程式分析與地理資訊系統等核心技能。課程首先介紹學術文書編輯方法,強化 Word 在報告撰寫、排版規範與圖表整合之應用能力,建立學生基本學術表達與資料整理素養。
接續透過 Excel 進行基礎資料分析,涵蓋資料整理、函數運算、統計計算與圖表製作,使學生具備初步數據處理與解讀能力。隨後導入 Power BI 進行資料視覺化與儀表板設計,培養學生以視覺化方式呈現分析結果與溝通數據意涵之能力。
在程式語言部分,課程介紹 Python 於資料分析與視覺化之應用,說明資料讀取、基本運算與圖形繪製流程,使學生理解程式工具在環境資料處理上的效率與彈性。最後,透過 QGIS 軟體介紹地理資訊系統基本操作與空間資料處理,使學生能進行簡易空間分析與地圖製作。
本課程採理論講解與實作練習並重方式,搭配小考與期中、期末考評量學習成效,並安排自主學習單元強化學生自我學習能力。課程目標在於建立學生跨工具整合應用能力,使其能運用數位技術支援環境資料分析與專題報告撰寫,為後續專業課程與研究奠定基礎。
This course aims to cultivate students' basic ability to use digital tools to solve environmental engineering and data analysis problems, integrating core skills such as academic document editing, data processing, data visualization, program analysis and geographic information systems. The course first introduces academic document editing methods, strengthens Word's application ability in report writing, formatting standards and chart integration, and builds students' basic academic expression and data organization literacy.
Continue to conduct basic data analysis through Excel, covering data organization, function operations, statistical calculations and chart production, so that students can acquire preliminary data processing and interpretation abilities. Then Power BI is introduced for data visualization and dashboard design, cultivating students' ability to present analysis results and communicate the meaning of data in a visual way.
In the programming language part, the course introduces the application of Python in data analysis and visualization, explains data reading, basic operations and graphics drawing processes, so that students can understand the efficiency and flexibility of programming tools in environmental data processing. Finally, the basic operations of geographic information systems and spatial data processing are introduced through QGIS software, so that students can perform simple spatial analysis and map production.
This course pays equal attention to theoretical explanations and practical exercises, with quizzes, midterm and final exams to evaluate learning effectiveness, and arranges independent learning units to strengthen students' self-learning abilities. The goal of the course is to build students' cross-tool integration and application capabilities so that they can use digital technology to support environmental data analysis and special report writing, laying the foundation for subsequent professional courses and research.
