本課程主要目的在於讓學生學習應用於環境科學及工程領域之相關分析儀器原理介紹及應用，其中包括光譜學原理、層析原理、質譜分析等，以及相關分析儀器介紹。部分課程將規劃安排實地至實驗室進行儀器介紹及操作技術講解。

The main purpose of this course is to allow students to learn the introduction and application of related analytical instrument principles applied in the fields of environmental science and engineering, including spectroscopy principles, chromatography principles, mass spectrometry analysis, etc., as well as an introduction to related analytical instruments. Some courses will be planned and arranged to go to the laboratory to introduce instruments and explain operating techniques.

本課程內容包含:QA/QC的觀念;電子學;放大訊號減小雜訊;儀器各部份的原理;火焰式原子吸光儀、石墨式原子吸光儀、感應耦合電漿質譜儀、氣相和液相層析儀、離子層析儀等原理之介紹。

The content of this course includes: the concept of QA/QC; electronics; amplifying signals and reducing noise; principles of each part of the instrument; introduction to the principles of flame atomic absorptiometry, graphite atomic absorptiometry, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer, gas and liquid chromatography, and ion chromatography.
