Sustainable Chemical Innovation and Experimental Studies

教育目標 Course Target

「永續創意化學與試驗」課程旨在結合理論知識、產業實務與永續發展目標(SDGs),培育學生以創新化學思維解決全球永續挑戰。課程採「產學協作」與「跨領域共創」模式,邀集系上十位具專業化學背景的教師與對應領域之業界專家共同引導教學,形成「一師一業」的協作架構。

課程初期,十位業界專家將依其專業領域與永續議題,針對SDGs相關主題進行分享與命題,依據系上老師專長,內容包括:化學生物學、計算化學、環境分析化學、有機金屬化學、不對稱催化化學、無機催化化學、藥物合成化學、核酸分析化學、有機光電化學、表面化學等。學生出席上述十位業界專家介紹後,依興趣領域分組,選擇特定主題進行問題定義或依據業界專家命題進行創意發想。

系上教師與業界專家將共同擔任「雙導師」,引導學生運用化學知識進行可行性分析與初步實驗設計。學生將在教師研究室內完成構想試驗,並以永續發展目標為核心,評估其方案在環境、社會與經濟層面的可持續性。

The "Sustainable Creative Chemistry and Experimentation" course aims to combine theoretical knowledge, industrial practice and sustainable development goals (SDGs) to cultivate students' innovative chemical thinking to solve global sustainable challenges. The course adopts the "industry-university collaboration" and "cross-field co-creation" models, inviting ten teachers with professional chemistry backgrounds and industry experts in the corresponding fields to jointly guide the teaching, forming a collaborative structure of "one teacher, one industry".

At the beginning of the course, ten industry experts will share and propose topics related to SDGs based on their professional fields and sustainable issues. Based on the expertise of the department teachers, the content includes: chemical biology, computational chemistry, environmental analytical chemistry, organometallic chemistry, asymmetric catalytic chemistry, inorganic catalytic chemistry, drug synthesis chemistry, nucleic acid analytical chemistry, organic photoelectrochemistry, surface chemistry, etc. After attending the introduction by the ten industry experts mentioned above, students were divided into groups according to their areas of interest and selected specific topics to define problems or develop creative ideas based on propositions proposed by industry experts.

Department teachers and industry experts will jointly serve as "dual tutors" to guide students to use chemical knowledge to conduct feasibility analysis and preliminary experimental design. Students will complete idea testing in the faculty laboratory and evaluate the environmental, social and economic sustainability of their solutions with sustainable development goals as the core.
