本課程閱讀文本是喬納森.沃夫，《政治哲學緒論：人天生就是政治動物》，鄭楷立譯，台北：商周出版。（Wolff, J. (2023). An introduction to political philosophy. Oxford University Press），內容包含自然狀態、國家的正當性、統治的問題、自由的位置、分配正義、身分正義、環境正義等問題，以回顧與「社會與政治」這個模組課程相關的重要政治與社會哲學議題。本課程旨在幫助學生借助不同政治哲學理論來分析與反思常見的社會與政治現象，並進一步思索將相關理論應用在當代尤其我國當前社會與政治問題的可能性。

The reading text for this course is Jonathan Wolfe, "Introduction to Political Philosophy: Humans are Born to be Political Animals", translated by Zheng Kaili, Taipei: Shangzhou Publishing House. (Wolff, J. (2023). An introduction to political philosophy. Oxford University Press), the content includes the state of nature, the legitimacy of the state, the problem of governance, the position of freedom, distributive justice, identity justice, environmental justice and other issues to review important political and social philosophy issues related to the "Society and Politics" module course. This course aims to help students analyze and reflect on common social and political phenomena with the help of different political philosophy theories, and further think about the possibility of applying relevant theories to contemporary social and political issues, especially in our country.
