本課程主要介紹先秦經典《左傳》，以國別與人物故事線為主軸，逐句講解《左傳》內文，以期使修課同學得以對《左傳》有全盤認識、細味《左傳》敘事之美、感受人物形象塑造、吸收大量古代文史常識。除傳世文獻內容外，還會輔以各種出土文物的內容來解說《左傳》，使修課同學更加瞭解該書內容與其時代背景樣貌。

This course mainly introduces the pre-Qin classic "Zuo Zhuan", focusing on the country and character story lines, explaining the text of "Zuo Zhuan" sentence by sentence, in order to enable students to have a comprehensive understanding of "Zuo Zhuan", appreciate the beauty of the narrative of "Zuo Zhuan", feel the character creation, and absorb a lot of common knowledge of ancient literature and history. In addition to the contents of handed down documents, "Zuo Zhuan" will also be explained with the contents of various unearthed cultural relics, so that students in the course can better understand the content of the book and its historical background.
