Environmental Interpretive Design
教育目標 Course Target
在氣候變遷與生態服務系統劣化的挑戰下,環境解說不再是單向傳遞知識的手段,而是促進地方觀察、地景理解與公共參與的多重橋樑。本課程以公民科學(Citizen Science)為核心,強調環境解說作為連結環境監測、空間敘事與社會行動的重要實踐進路,跳脫傳統解說教育模式,探討群眾參與如何轉化地景知識與社會影響力。
課程以「地景閱讀—行旅實察—設計轉化」為主軸,結合數位工具的操作(如 iTrail、iNaturalist、GetDiv)的應用與實地操作,帶領學生從觀察步道網絡與生態綠廊道,進行群眾科學式的資料收集與解說構思,實踐公民在進行遊憩活動時參與環境監測的融合設計。
學生將閱讀關鍵文獻,分析國內外以公民科學介入空間設計與永續旅遊的案例,並於期末實作一場由學生設計、對外公開的公民科學×解說設計工作坊,以具備研究性與實踐力的成果回應地景議題。。
Under the challenges of climate change and the degradation of ecological service systems, environmental interpretation is no longer a one-way means of transmitting knowledge, but a multiple bridge to promote local observation, landscape understanding and public participation. This course takes Citizen Science as its core and emphasizes environmental interpretation as an important practical approach that connects environmental monitoring, spatial narrative and social action. It breaks away from the traditional interpretation education model and explores how mass participation transforms landscape knowledge and social influence.
The course takes "Landscape Reading - Travel Observation - Design Transformation" as the main axis, and combines the application and field operation of digital tools (such as iTrail, iNaturalist, GetDiv), leading students to observe the trail network and ecological green corridors, conduct mass scientific data collection and interpretation, and practice the integrated design of citizens' participation in environmental monitoring during recreational activities.
Students will read key literature, analyze cases at home and abroad that use citizen science to intervene in space design and sustainable tourism, and at the end of the semester implement a citizen science × interpretation design workshop designed by students and made public to respond to landscape issues with research-based and practical results. .
